Deposits, Procedures, Aftercare, Covid Policy, and More.

I will be updating this section so check back here for updates anytime you schedule a tattoo with me. Thank you!

What about tattoo deposits?

After you have contacted me using my booking form (in the main menu) AND after we have both agreed to schedule your tattoo, I will ask you to place a deposit ranging from $100 - 200 depending on the size of the tattoo. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE and secures your spot on my schedule. Your deposit is applied to your total tattoo cost. If you didn’t place a deposit then you likely don’t have an appointment me.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • I require 48 hours notice on non-emergency reschedules. If you fail to reschedule then you will forfeit your deposit. If you reschedule more than once, you will forfeit your deposit. In order to continue your project you’ll have to place a new deposit.

  • If you feel sick, please contact me right away. I’ll handle these on a case by case basis.

  • If you are more than 30min late without contacting me, then you will forfeit your deposit and your tattoo will be cancelled/rescheduled.

  • If you fail to show up for your appointment, you will forfeit your deposit.

What is your covid policy?

Currently I don’t require masks. If you feel unwell or have been exposed please reach-out and we will get you rescheduled. I do wear a mask while tattooing for safety reasons.

Will you tattoo your design a second time?

Custom tattoos are unique and only tattooed once. If you see a previous tattoo of mine (flash or custom) we can use this as inspiration to design a unique custom tattoo just for you.

Flash tattoo designs I offer can be tattooed up to 3 times.

  • First color scheme

  • Second color scheme

  • Black, or Black & Grey only

How should I prepare for my tattoo appointment?

  • Make sure you have ate recently (bring snacks if needed)

  • Be well rested, don’t come hung-over

  • Come hydrated (bring a water container)

  • DON'T take a blood thinner like Tylenol or Advil before, during, or after your session.

  • If you spend a lot of time in the sun or have naturally dry skin, I recommend you try a regimen of light exfoliation and moisturizing 5 days in advance. This will help your tattoo to go smoother and faster, which can save you time, pain, money!

  • If your skin is irritated and has minor wounds, sunburned, rash, or fresh scars, etc. then I won’t be able to tattoo you. If you’re unclear then just ask me, I’m happy to help.

I have other questions

Just reach out to me and I’ll be happy to answer them for you.

Tattoo Aftercare

If you’ve gotten a tattoo from me, then it’s likely you have a clear bandage on your new tattoo (commonly referred to as second skin, Saniderm, Tegaderm, etc.) If your bandage HASN’T leaked and maintains a strong seal, you can leave it on for 2-4 days. If your clear bandage leaks, then you must remove it following the instructions below.

ABOVE ALL - Keep it clean, keep it modestly moisturized, and be gentle.

  • Wash your hands before removing the bandage (it’s easiest to remove the bandage in the shower or under warm water).

  • Gently wash the tattoo with soap and water using the soft tips of your fingers (no scrubbing).

  • Lightly apply tattoo salve (made for healing skin, A&D ointment or Aquaphor works) to the tattoo a few times daily.

  • Only clean clothes and bedding should contact your tattoo while healing. Avoid tight fitting clothing on the area.

  • Until healing is complete, avoid soaking, no hot tubs, swimming, saunas, or physical activities like hot yoga. Showers are fine, but try to be brief.

  • While healing if your tattoo gets wet gently pat dry using a clean paper towel (no bath towels or cloths).

  • Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds. Sunscreen should only be applied to fully healed tattoos.

  • Some scabbing, flaking and peeling is normal. If you tattoo produces scabs, DO NOT pick them. This can damage the tattoo.
